VINIFICATION AND REFINING — Hand-picked harvest. Gentle destemming. Fermentation at a controlled temperature on the skins. Aged for 14 months in oak barriques. After this period, the wine is blended and bottled, followed by further aging in the bottle.

ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS — Garnet red with violet reflections, it has an intense and pleasant aroma reminiscent of blackberries and raspberries. On the palate, it is enveloping and persistent, with notes of wild blackberry, black cherry, vanilla, and spices.

DRINK WITH — Aged cured meats, pappardelle with game, onion soup, lasagna, venison stew, cotechino.

LONGEVITY — 10 – 12 years.

SERVE AT — 16-18 °C.
